Senior SME Target Engagement Systems; TES Security Clearance

Position: Senior SME Target Engagement Systems (TES) with Security Clearance
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Senior SME in Target Engagement Systems (TES) to provide research support administration services for our government customer gg, NC . DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist the SGM and Deputy for Target Engagement Systems as the TES SME working in collaboration with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry - to develop new tools and technology in support of the SOF Individual and Crew Served Weapons and Small Arms Ammunition community

* Assist in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation to include Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and update Project Folders

* Tasks include: provide advice and training on current advanced drilling techniques/technology applications; explosive planning factors; charge preparation; charge emplacement; and design, fabricate, and test commercial and industrial blasting products

* Coordinates with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Manager to ensure adequate design specifications and associated documentation and problem resolution for problem reports REQUIRED DEGREE/

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

* Must have a bachelor's degree

* Master's degree preferred REQUIRED

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have at least twelve (12) years of experience in weapons and small arms ammunition development, testing requirements, fielding, industry SAAMI specifications, (particularly SOF) with a knowledge of weapons and small arms ammunition employment techniques, tactics, & procedures. REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized)
