The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Python and Type Script to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end applications that power our core platforms. You will work across the stack—building scalable backend services, intuitive front-end interfaces, and reliable integrations that deliver value to our customers. This position is ideal for engineers who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems with clean, maintainable code.
Responsibilities- Application Development:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, or equivalent). - Front-End Engineering:
Build and enhance user interfaces with Type Script (React, Angular, or equivalent frameworks). - API Design & Integration:
Develop RESTful and/or Graph
QL APIs, ensuring robust integrations between microservices and third‑party systems. - Database Management:
Design, query, and optimize databases (Postgre
SQL, MySQL, or No
SQL solutions). - Cloud & Dev Ops:
Deploy and maintain applications in modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Testing & Quality:
Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards. - Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features from concept to production. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with new technologies, frameworks, and best practices; recommend improvements to architecture, tools, and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with significant exposure to Python and Type Script.
- Strong understanding of front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask, etc.).
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and/or No
SQL). - Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, Graph
QL). - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern Dev Ops practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with microservices architecture and event‑driven systems (Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, etc.). - Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Understanding of modern testing frameworks (Pytest, Jest, Cypress).
- Previous experience working in agile development environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $60,100 – $123,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
