This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

• 5+ years of experience with software engineering including designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
• Experience in software development using modern compiled and interpreted programming languages
• Experience with front-end development including a modern web development stack and framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience with back-end development building services and APIs such as Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Django, gin-gonic, gofiber, or FastAPI
• Experience developing, packaging, and deploying containerized applications with Docker, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes, Open Shift, or ECS
• Experience with various database solutions including relational or No
  
  SQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and use of ORMs
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines such as Git CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops
• Knowledge of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices and debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or technology field, or 8+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or Cloud Formation
• Experience with message brokers and event-driven architecture such such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
• Experience observability and monitoring such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Open Search, Datadog, or Splunk
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, vitest, or JUnit or pytest
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  practices, SAST/DAST tooling, and vulnerability remediation
• Experience with authentication and authorization standards including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or SAML
• Experience with caching strategies, such as Redis or Memcached, and API gateway technologies
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications, including implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions with vector databases, embedding models, and LLM APIs or SDKs
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments with tools such as Jira, Azure Boards, or Git Lab Cloud certifications
