. This role is open in the United States—ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff and the discipline lead.
- Help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes in collaboration with architects, engineers, and designers.
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience working with instrumentation and control.
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Forward‑thinking mindset, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
- Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams.
- Experience with data center design.
