. This role is open in the United States—ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.

$95,200/yr - $130,900/yr

• Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff and the discipline lead.
• Help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes in collaboration with architects, engineers, and designers.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience working with instrumentation and control.
• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.

• Engineer in Training (EIT).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Forward‑thinking mindset, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
• Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
• Collaborative mindset and experience working effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
• Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams.
• Experience with data center design.
