Responsibilities- Make sure rooms, suites, and other areas of the hotel are always fresh and welcoming for our guests.
- Ensure rooms meet hotel standards and are presented in a special, memorable way.
- Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
- Keep supervisors updated on room‑service progress and alert them to any necessary repairs.
- Follow established safety procedures at all times and wear protective equipment when required.
- Maintain supplies and amenities, minimizing waste wherever possible.
- Reunite lost items with owners and log any lost‑and‑found property according to procedures.
- Wear and maintain a clean uniform with pride.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties and unexpected tasks that arise during the shift.
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities across all housekeeping areas.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
- Assist with deep‑cleaning projects, turndown duties, and other assigned duties as needed.
- Availability for varying shifts across a 7‑day period, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Physical fitness: on your feet most of the day, ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) and move heavy objects; ability to bend and kneel as required.
- Literacy skills – reading, writing, and basic math.
