Amentum is seeking a Special Security Technician supporting our USSPACECOM program in Colorado Springs, CO.
** This position is contingent on position availability**.

• Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) in controlling access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SCI Facilities (SCIFs); handle SCI visitor clearances/access; conduct security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training on classified material; obtain signed nondisclosure agreements; provide guidance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for military, government, and contractor personnel.
• Serve as a Controlled Access Program (CAP) security specialist for lifecycle program protection management for USSPACECOM, implementing protocols to reduce espionage, terrorism, and unauthorized disclosure threats.
• Develop, implement, and integrate CAP program protection requirements supporting USSPACECOM's critical information, operations, and systems. As a subject matter expert, provide detailed knowledge of DoD, IC, and mission partner policies, plans, and procedures, and recommend security measures from inception to completion.
• Train and manage personnel on CAP/SAP/SAR program protection requirements. Provide operational analysis, decisions, and recommendations to meet DoD and USSPACECOM standards.
• Additional duties may include audits of classified materials, inspections of storage facilities/SCIFs, and research and preparation of policy and management reports.

• Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with at least eight years of relevant experience.

Salary range: $90,000 - $135,000, determined by education, experience, and skills. Includes a competitive benefits package. For more info, visit
