Reserve Store Associate

Barber DME Supply Group is proud to serve our nation’s active-duty service members, their families, and our veterans. We are seeking Reserve Store Associates to provide flexible support in our military base locations.

This role is designed for individuals who want meaningful, occasional work without the commitment of a full-time schedule. As a Reserve Store Associate, you will step in for vacation coverage, last-minute staffing needs, marketing events, and special projects such as inventory counts.

You will not be responsible for complex back-office operations — our experienced remote team provides that support. Your focus will be on creating a welcoming in-store experience and representing Barber DME with professionalism and care.

Provide reliable in-store coverage when scheduled

Assist during military community events such as Retiree Appreciation Days and Newcomers’ Meetings

Support special projects, including inventory counts and store resets

Deliver excellent customer service to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families

Represent Barber DME with integrity, compassion, and professionalism

Dependable and adaptable with a strong sense of service

Professional, personable, and customer-focused

Able to work independently with remote support

Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not

required — reliability and compassion are essential

Previous experience in a DME or healthcare setting is highly desirable

Employment type:

1099 contractor

Flexible scheduling — assignments typically provided with 24 hours’ notice

Competitive flat day rate for full store coverage

Hourly rate for partial shifts and event support
