We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management. This role requires proficiency in accounting systems and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits.
Identify process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Technical
Skills:Proficiency in Paycom ,
Microsoft Dynamics GP , and ERP systems (preferred).Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other accounting software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus.
Experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
