Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a flexible Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day payment operations for a busy team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This Long-term Part Time Contract position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping ensure timely vendor payments. The right candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a practical understanding of accounts payable workflows, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Hours will range from 10-25 hours per week. Will need to be flexible with schedule in a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval before processing payment
• Assign correct accounting codes to invoices and enter payment data into the system with a high level of accuracy
• Prepare and support regular check runs while helping ensure vendors are paid according to agreed terms
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams and suppliers
• Process credit card-related transactions and reconcile supporting documentation with submitted expenses
• Monitor invoice activity to keep payment queues current and address issues that could delay processing
• Assist with data entry and transaction handling within Central Square as part of daily accounts payable operations
