Qualifications/

Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Automotive: 5 years (Required)
• Automotive diagnostics: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)

Preferred:

• Clean MVR
• Ability to lift 60-80 lbs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, minor repairs, and documentation.
• Perform oil changes and lubrication work.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period.
• Inspect and test-drive vehicles to ensure that all features function properly.
• Work alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.

A Day In the Life of An Auto Repair Technician (Responsibilities):

• Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including diesel engine repair and powertrain services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

You inspect various vehicles, keenly assessing each car’s unique needs with your expert eye. One moment, you’re diagnosing a mysterious rattle and the next, you’re skillfully repairing a stubborn brake system, taking pride in fixing what others can’t. With each completed task, you meticulously input your findings into the system, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed.
