RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in Fort Collins, GA that is seeking a Procurement Specialist who will manage tactical procurement activities for enterprise technology hardware client’s prototype programs, primarily under the Workstations division. This role ensures timely material acquisition, accurate tracking, and effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work onsite full-time.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update supplier contact information, lead time estimates, and ETAs
- Act as primary liaison with domestic and international suppliers
- Create and distribute material request surveys;
Track participation and communicate results within 2 business days - Place and track POs and IOs through completion, including shipment details, pricing, and lead times
- Resolve receipt issues (quantity, price, customs delays) and escalate as needed
- Generate and track shippers for outbound material from Fort Collins
- Coordinate with shipping department;
Ensure compliance with client-approved transportation methods - Maintain accurate inventory records;
Conduct audits and support recycling initiatives - Ensure proper material classification for international shipments
- Follow client procedures for material handling, storage, and documentation in SharePoint and inventory tools
- Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, and shipping notices
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding shipment status and costs
- Escalate unresolved supplier issues to Prototype Program Management
- Document issues and resolutions for future reference
- Strong organizational and tracking skills;
Proficient in Excel and Share Point - Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform onsite delivery to appropriate team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in procurement, inventory management, or related fields preferred
- Familiarity with international shipping and customs processes is a plus
- Onsite 5 days/week in Fort Collins, CO
- Frequent interaction with suppliers, shipping teams, and internal requestors
- Fast-paced environment with high-volume procurement during SOW season
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
