Position at Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital is seeking a part time Customer Service Representative with outstanding customer service skills!
Job requirements- Veterinary experience required
- Minimum 1 year experience as veterinary receptionist, or 3 years in healthcare industry as receptionist preferred
- Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary
- Ability to be physically active (this is not a desk job)
- Seeking to fill 4 shifts per week
The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding customer service. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) answers the phone, differentiates between routine and emergency cases, schedules appointments, greets clients, admits and checks outpatients, processes payments, manages financial information, and communicates information between clients and staff. They are the advocate for the client and must demonstrate the ability to be empathetic to clientele.
Customer Service Representatives are also responsible for:
- Maintaining patient records
- Client callbacks
- Providing estimates and explaining recommended services
- Assisting the patient care team with animal handling as necessary
- Maintaining a clean lobby and exam rooms at all times
- Cash handling and financial documentation
- Minimum 1 year experience as veterinary receptionist, or 3 years in another healthcare industry as a receptionist
- Ability to be physically active (this is not a desk job)
- Knowledge of triage in a veterinary setting is highly preferred
Our hospital is open 24 Hours and is available to assist in any pet-related urgent care or emergency situation.
