The Early Childhood Education Support Coordinator (ESC) assists the Administrative Team in operating the center in accordance with ECC policies and procedures, Colorado state licensing requirements, and NAEYC accreditation standards. This individual serves as the Director Qualified staff member when the Director and the Assistant Director are out of the building or unavailable.
This individual provides general support to the ECC and demonstrates leadership by creating and maintaining a positive environment for children, families, college students, and ECC staff. The ECE Support Coordinator is responsible for mentoring and coaching all teachers in all areas of their practice including but not limited to behavioral support, environmental support, pedagogical support, and family support.
The ECE Support Coordinator is responsible for filling in for teachers on an as needed basis including subbing for scheduled and unscheduled absences both long and short term.
This individual is responsible for identifying, coordinating, and leading professional development opportunities throughout the year. This includes Professional Development opportunities for CSU students placed at our center.
Ability to carry or lift loads up to 25 lbs.
Work authorization visa sponsorship may be available depending on individual circumstances and associated costs for the selected finalist.
Minimum Qualifications /Requirements- Master’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership or related field
- Large Center Director Qualified by the State of Colorado or ability to obtain this Qualification.
- Colorado Early Childhood Professional /PDIS level IV or above or ability to obtain this certification.
- Previous experience in early childhood classrooms.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make well-reasoned decisions.
- CPR/First Aid Certified
$60,000 – $63,000 Annually
