Job Description
TheCSUCollege Assistance Migrant Program(CAMP) ishousedin the Academic Advancement Centerin theDivisionof
Student Affairs.
CAMPboasts a student-centered philosophy of advocacy andvalidatingseasonal agricultural workers and migrantfarmworkingbackground students through programs, activities,and services.
CAMPhas threefull-time, exempt professionals, and4-6student staff employees,and the Program Assistantreportsdirectly to the CAMP Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator.

Theprimaryresponsibility of the Program Assist antis toplan andfacilitateadministrative tasks in support ofstudent-centeredprograms and events towardsrecruitment,retention,and student wellnessin a in-person services setting.
These areaccomplishedby the followingexpectations:
Job Responsibilities
AssistCAMP Coordinator with recruitmenteffortsincluding but not limited to phone banking, tabling, and presenting.
Work with CAMP Coordinator to develop ongoing workshops andassistwith execution of the efforts
Communicate with other AAC programs staff and work together on student centered events
Assistwithacademicyear event planning and execution of campus andcommunitypartners collaborations
Responsible for event promotionlogisticsrelated to flyer creationsand advertisementto CAMP scholars
Developa digitaltrailofdocumentsfor assigned events and other job responsibilities effortsexecuted
Serve as coordinator for the office social media outlets, including creation or delegation ofcontent creation and posting
Serve as Lead stafffor CAMP Studentselectionandtravellogisticstowardsthe Annual Leadership National HEP/CAMP conference
Assistwithassessing and evaluatingprograms and efforts and reportthematical dataanalysisofsummaryfindings
Understand the program’seligibility and compliance requirementsinsupporting all areas of recruitment.
Collaborate withfull timestaff on planning andexecutionofoffice anddepartmentstudent stafftrainingand CAMP Scholars Fall and Spring Orientations
Serve in the planning committee for the Northern Colorado Migrant Youth Leadership Institute
Serve in the planning committee forthe
Academic Advancement Center End of Year CelebrationAttendleadstaff meetings and assigned events programs
Track expenses topermitprogram’s operation within the AY 26-27 budget
Collaborate with otherCAMPstaff toidentifystudent’sareas of need
Other duties as assignedupon capacity and availability
Stafftheofficefront desk
Assist with New Student Orientation workshop presentations and involvement in resourcesfairtableting
Assist with New Student Orientation Spanish sessions
Conductspecialresearchprojectsrelevant to academic success and trending best practices for student success
Assist with interviews,selection,andonboardingprocedures ofundergraduatestudent staff
Serve asCAMP representativecommitteememberforthe AnnualC4EWelcome Back Event
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
One year of college experience from anaccreditedinstitution of higher education
Previous leadership or other experience in working withfirst-generation and/orunderrepresentedstudents
A highdegreeoforganization, administrative, and communication skillsas a team member
Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and maximize available resources
Flexible to changing environments andhigh levelof self-direction, initiative,and reliability
Must be available 3 to 4 days a week to performassignedduties
Ability to worksomenightsand weekends
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree and enrolled in a graduate degree at Colorado State University
Previousexperiences working with grant funded programs and event planning
