Information specific to this position:
This position is for a Manufacturing Teacher at the Career Tech Center. The scheduled hours for this position are 12:30 PM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years (or equivalent hours) of paid occupational experience in machining/manufacturing, with recent industry experience preferred
• Hands-on expertise with manual lathes and milling machines Holds, or is eligible for, a Colorado CTE Authorization in Manufacturing/Machining
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, precision measurement and inspection tools, and shop safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC programming and operation (G-code, setup, and operation of CNC mills and lathes)
• CAD/CAM experience (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Solid Works)
• Industry certifications such as NIMS credentials or OSHA
• 10/30 Teaching, training, or apprenticeship-mentoring experience
• Experience with GD&T, quality control, or lean manufacturing

Percentage: 50%

Hours/Day: 4 (12:30 PM-4:30 PM)

Work calendar days: 188 (+5 extended contract days)

Benefits include: PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long term disability, access to employee walk-in clinic, as well as other optional benefit elections.

Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 10th, 2026).

This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected,willretain contract status.

Must have a valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.
