Tenstorrent is seeking an experienced Senior Power Analysis Engineer to drive power‑efficient SoC designs across our family of CPU and AI products. This role spans the entire product lifecycle—from early architecture estimation through post‑silicon optimization—ensuring industry‑leading performance per watt. This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, or Fort Collins, CO. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level.

• A power optimization expert with deep experience across the entire SoC lifecycle, from architecture to silicon.
• Data‑driven engineer who leverages advanced analysis techniques, including AI/ML, to enhance power modeling.
• Collaborative problem‑solver who partners effectively with cross‑functional teams to drive power‑aware decisions.
• Passionate about achieving industry‑leading performance per watt through innovative power reduction techniques.

• MS/PhD in EE/CE with 5–7+ years of SoC power analysis and optimization experience.
• Proven expertise with Power Artist and Prime Power for accurate power analysis and correlation.
• Strong background in power modeling, budgeting, and PPA tradeoff analysis at RTL and system levels.
• Proficiency in Python/scripting and experience applying data analysis frameworks to power optimization.

• How to drive power efficiency for cutting‑edge AI accelerators and high‑performance CPUs from concept to silicon.
• Advanced AI/ML techniques for enhancing power prediction accuracy and analysis productivity.
• Strategies for correlating pre‑silicon estimates with post‑silicon measurements to continuously improve methodologies.
• Cross‑functional collaboration methods that influence architecture, thermal, and software design for optimal system power.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
