We are seeking a creative and passionate Mechanical Designer II. You will create new and effective design solutions that improve our users'/clients' lives as a designer. You’ll collaborate with the project engineer and others to create appealing and user‑friendly designs.
Responsibilities- Skilled in planning and sketching mechanical and plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping, sanitary systems, domestic water, and medical gas.
- Plumbing, ductwork, sanitary, medical, compressed air, natural gas, and water heating systems.
- Develop and analyze design concepts with engineers.
- Determine design feasibility based on safety, function, and serviceability.
- Use Revit software to create comprehensive drawings, plans, and sketches.
- Create construction documentation and manage sporadic submissions.
- Collaborate with different disciplines to achieve design integration.
- Visit sites and conduct field research.
- Optimize routing and system size.
- Possess expertise in CAD software.
- Health care experience is essential.
- ABET‑accredited engineering bachelor's degree (required).
- Working toward professional license (PE) after passing Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE).
- Over 4 years as a mechanical designer.
- Computer skills:
Revit, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office, Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D.
