Provide all branches/customers with accurate, efficient, and professional service. Book loans on the bank's core-accounting system (Navigator), and maintain Navigator when necessary. Book escrow information when required and disburses escrow funds to third parties as appropriate. Book participation loans as necessary and wire loan funds to participating institutions. Assist in the preparation of portfolio reports as necessary.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
  • Books loans on Navigator system in a complete, correct, and efficient manner.
  • Reviews loan documentation for completeness, correctness, and compliance.
  • Processes all modifications/extensions/renewals on the Navigator System.
  • Books, funds and pays-off loans for the secondary market.
  • Builds transaction blocks and/or run necessary entries to complete loan or extension transactions as necessary.
  • Monitors Exception Reports for processed branches for unscheduled transactions.
  • Prepares and submits monthly reports as directed by Manager.
  • Maintains billing records for branches being processed.
  • Assists branches in error resolution.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Transition opportunity into the LPC Loan Specialist role.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary.
Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge and experience with bank loan operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Skill in communicating effectively with management, customers and co-workers.
  • Skill in customer relations.
  • Skill in detail orientation and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
Education and Experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous banking experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience with Navigator system preferred.
