Turing Point is focused on building out a best in class dual treatment Intensive Outpatient Program from youth struggling with Mental Health and Substance Use. In addition, we’re working to build strong families and help the communities we serve addressing mental health and substance use.

Among the current suite of services, we offer Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program, Behavior Coaching and Family Services, DUI/DWAI services, and Individual and Family Therapy. Services are offered in-home, in the community, or from either outpatient facility (913 11th Ave in Greeley and 1644 S. College Ave in Fort Collins). We have contracts with DHS and DYS, and also provide services to youth, families, and adults not involved in the system.

Position summary and general purpose

The Clinical Program Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of client services, including clinical programming, transitions, and management of direct care staff. This position also oversees agency-wide training initiatives and participates in financial planning and monitoring related to clinical operations. The Director collaborates closely with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure all services align with Turning Point’s mission and adhere to industry best practices.

Qualifications
  • Masters in a related behavioral health field.
  • Licensed in Colorado as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor. LAC required.
  • Minimum of five years experience of treatment-oriented clinical experience as a Licensed Clinician.
  • Minimum of four years in a clinical or organizational management/leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and families.
  • Experience supervising clinical staff and teaching clinical skills to professional teams.
  • Strong understanding of current behavioral health trends, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Self-directed, organized, and capable of effective collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, administrators, and multidisciplinary staff.
  • Demonstrated initiative in managing responsibilities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining and building professional expertise.
  • Ability to professionally represent the agency to clients, families, referral and licensing partners, community providers, law enforcement, and the public.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as program needs require.
Position Responsibilities
  • Development and Implementation of Client Program Services:
  • Lead the therapeutic vision for the agency in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Ensure best practices and research-based treatment modalities are consistently applied across clinical programs.
  • Develop clinical services in alignment with emerging industry trends and the needs of the client population.
  • Oversee collaboration relationships with referral sources throughout Colorado.
  • Ensure compliance with Behavioral Health Administration (BHA/BHE) regulations.
  • Ensure maintenance and quality of all client records.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload of 10-15 clients in addition to administrative and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Management of Direct Care and Clinical Staff:
  • Participate in agency oversight regarding planning, program development, organizing, budgeting, controlling, staffing and training.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinical staff and additional staff as assigned.
  • Support performance management, clinical quality assurance, and staff development initiatives.
  • Training and Professional Development Oversight:
  • Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and emerging clinical methodologies.
  • Oversee development, coordination and delivery of agency training programs for clinical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements associated with contractors, licensing entities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Fiscal Responsibilities:
