Pay Rate$37.00 – $43.00 / Hour depending on experience
Job SummaryAs a Respiratory Therapist
, you will work alongside our Pulmonary Program Coordinator to ensure that our residents receive exceptional care. You will be a key part of our clinical team, responsible for administering respiratory treatments, tracking patient progress, and contributing to the development of tailored care plans. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a setting that values proactive care and quality of life for all residents.
- Provide respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, state and federal guidelines, and our facility’s policies and procedures.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assess patient pain that may interfere with optimal function and collaborate with nursing staff to address it.
- Maintain infection control standards by adhering to sterilization protocols and ensuring the safety of equipment.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in their medical records.
- Supervise respiratory equipment, ensuring it is working efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure personalized care for each resident.
- Current Respiratory Therapist Licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Active CRT or RRT credential.
- BLS Certification.
- Strong ability to handle stressful situations and work effectively under pressure.
- Passion for servant leadership and a commitment to improving the lives of residents.
