Summary

Join our dedicated team as an entry-level Sterile Processing Technician. In this role, you will perform essential sterile processing functions in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and clean instruments and equipment according to IFUs, ensuring items are disassembled for proper cleaning methods. Conduct visual inspections before assembly and packaging.
  • Ensure appropriate sterilization of instruments and equipment by following IFUs, checking external indicators, filters, and labels.
  • Perform routine sterilization testing, which includes biological monitoring and leak testing.
  • Document completed work accurately using instrument tracking software and paper documentation.
  • Utilize critical thinking and judgment to perform tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum Required

    Education:

    High School diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure/Certification:
    Certification as a CSPDT or CRCST.
  • Minimum Experience:

    No experience required; however, 3 months of certified experience is preferred.
