Human Resources Operations and Employee Support
- Serve as the primary HR contact for both organizations, providing guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employee relations.
- Manage all stages of the employee lifecycle: recruiting coordination, onboarding, performance processes, and offboarding.
- Maintain and continually improve both companies’ Rippling HRIS platforms for accuracy, reporting, and efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to align HR practices with company culture and goals.
- Support leadership communication, engagement, and clarity consistent with each organization’s principles.
Benefits & Payroll Collaboration
- Coordinate with external benefits brokers to manage annual renewals, open enrollment, and employee communication.
- Ensure compliance with ACA, FMLA, COBRA, and all applicable employment laws.
- Collaborate with controllers at both companies to ensure payroll accuracy, reconcile deductions, and support payroll audits.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Oversee HR and organizational compliance for both companies, including:
- Employment law, I-9, and EEO recordkeeping
- Entity-level filings, annual registrations, and corporate documentation
- Fleet management, vehicle registration, insurance, and driver compliance
- Policy updates and employee handbook administration
- Act as the internal liaison for safety programs, claims, and insurance carriers.
Administrative Oversight
- Manage and maintain all HR documentation, including personnel files and compliance forms.
- Support on special projects and reporting related to audits, compliance, or organizational planning.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors (background checks, benefits, insurance, etc.).
- Track and ensure both organizations meet all deadlines for periodic filings and administrative renewals.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive HR generalist or management experience, preferably in a small to mid‑size, multi‑entity environment.
- Solid understanding of federal and Colorado employment law and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (Rippling preferred).
- Experience managing benefits through a broker and coordinating payroll with finance teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive issues and build trust at all levels.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities across two companies.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP certification preferred.
- Both organizations operate with clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Leaders and employees receive timely, proactive HR support.
- HR processes and documentation are well‑managed, auditable, and scalable.
- Culture, communication, and accountability align with the principles of organizational health.
- The HR Manager is seen as a trusted, cross‑functional partner who ensures both companies run smoothly and people thrive.
Pay range: 72,000–95,000 USD per year + Benefits.
