Why This Role Matters
The Partner Insights & Vendor Strategy Lead is a senior individual contributor within the Strategic Alliances organization, responsible for owning the analytical insight, strategic direction, and operational rigor behind BillGO’s partner and vendor ecosystem. This role owns vendor strategy and the procurement lifecycle, and acts as the business owner for insight automation and vendor process optimization.
The role blends decision analytics, vendor management, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure BillGO is making informed, scalable, and commercially sound decisions across both partners and vendors.

Vendor Strategy & Procurement Ownership
- Own the end‑to‑end vendor lifecycle, including vendor identification, evaluation, vetting, contracting, renewals, and amendments
- Partner with Business / Technical owners, Legal, Finance, Security, and Compliance on contract reviews, risk assessments, and approval workflows
- Establish clear criteria for vendor selection, performance measurement, renewal, and exit decisions
- Serve as the primary business owner for vendor‑related strategy and procurement decisions within Strategic Alliances
Vendor Performance, Value & Commercial Analysis
- Define and track vendor KPIs tied to cost, performance, reliability, and strategic value
- Evaluate vendor performance against contractual commitments and business outcomes
- Lead vendor negotiations and renewals through data‑backed insights and scenario analysis
Partner Insights & Performance Analysis
- Deliver data‑driven insights on partner performance, economics, and usage trends
- Support Account Managers and Directors with analytical inputs for account planning, QBRs, and strategic reviews
Insight & Vendor Process Automation (Business Ownership)
- Define and prioritize requirements for standardized reporting, automated dashboards, metrics, and repeatable analytical processes
- Act as the business owner for automation of partner and vendor reporting, vendor intake, approval workflows, and renewal tracking
- Partner with Data, Analytics, Engineering, Operation, and Strategic Alliance teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Validate outputs to ensure insights are accurate, scalable, and aligned to business intent
- Drive the transition from manual, ad hoc processes to repeatable, automated workflows

Decision Analytics & Strategic Problem Solving
- Apply structured decision analytics to complex partner and vendor decisions
- Evaluate tradeoffs across cost, revenue, risk, scalability, and operational impact
- Deliver clear, defensible recommendations to senior leadership
Executive & Cross‑Functional Communication
- Produce executive‑ready insights, narratives, and recommendations
- Clearly communicate vendor risks, opportunities, and decisions
- Align stakeholders across Strategic Alliances, Finance, Legal, Product, Data, Operations, and Engineering

- Vendor optimization / value realization ($ / number of vendors)
- Percentage of vendor renewals supported by structured analysis
- Percentage of partner and vendor insights delivered through automated processes
- Stakeholder (Account Manager + leadership) satisfaction with insights and recommendations
What You Bring
- 5–7+ years in vendor management, procurement‑adjacent roles, technical or management consulting, or strategic analytics
- Demonstrated ownership of vendor lifecycle, procurement, client management processes
- Proven experience acting as a business owner for analytics or process automation initiatives
- Strong ability to collaborate with technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder influence skills
