Loader Operator at Amrize
Location: Timnath, RMX, CO

What You’ll Accomplish- Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and turn steering wheel to operate loader. Move levers to lower, tilt bucket, and drive to force bucket into bulk material.
- Raise and tilt bucket when filled, drive vehicle to work site, and dump material.
- Perform assignments outlined by supervisors, following standard procedures. Work inspected periodically for safety and economy.
- Perform routine maintenance on loader: lubricating, fueling, cleaning.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and customers served.
- Perform daily pre‑shift inspections of batch plant for smooth startup.
- Daily: inspect gates, drive belts, conveyor belts, troughs, and return rollers for proper functionality.
- Responsible for batch plant clean up and proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Daily inspection of water/boiler and air systems; follow proper start‑up and shutdown procedures.
- Weekly: maintain site cleanliness (vacuum batch plant office floor, empty trash cans, clean bathrooms).
- Ensure all areas of plant are greased and equipped to accept grease weekly.
- Inspect all bearings on batch plant.
- Monthly: inspect dust collector to ensure proper operating condition.
- Quarterly: check oil in all gearboxes and associated drive belts.
- Participate in annual oil change and update all drive belts associated with gearboxes.
- 12 months loader operator experience with 980M/982M loaders.
- Prior work experience preferred: heavy equipment, construction or paving.
- Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills.
- Proven safety record.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school or GED.
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
- Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies. Promote safety culture, adhere to all safety protocols, and properly use PPE. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face.
