Resident Director of Women's Ministry

The Resident Director of Women's Ministry serves as a two-year ministry resident, providing leadership, discipleship, and administrative support for the women's ministry of Grace Church. Working under the supervision of the Senior Pastor and the Session, the Resident Director equips women to grow in Christ, fosters meaningful relationships within the congregation, assists the elders in shepherding and care ministries, and helps strengthen the overall discipleship of the church.

The residency is intended to provide meaningful ministry experience while preparing the resident director for long-term service in the church.

As our congregation grows, the need for intentional discipleship, pastoral care, and leadership among the women of the church has increased. Rather than immediately creating a permanent staff position, the Session is establishing a two year residency that both serves our congregation and develops future leaders for Christ's Church.

• Enthusiastic support for serving within a PCA congregation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with pastors, staff, elders, deacons, deaconesses, volunteers, and ministry leaders.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• A demonstrated gifting for discipleship, teaching, and relational ministry.

• Graduate theological education preferred, including degrees such as Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Biblical or Theological Studies, Master of Arts in Counseling.
• Previous experience leading women's Bible studies or discipleship ministries.

• Assist the elders in shepherding the women of the congregation.
• Plan, organize, and administer women's Bible studies, fellowship events, retreats, and other ministry initiatives.
• Youth Mentoring and Youth Hospitality (approximately one third of the role)
• Build relationships within the congregation and actively pursue opportunities to encourage and connect women in the church.

• Salary: $50,000–65,000
• Church-owned housing provided in addition to salary (approximately $20,000 value)
• Insurance stipend
• Two-year appointment
