UCHealth Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center has an excellent opportunity for a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner who possesses empathy, talent, drive, and a "patients first" mentality.
Ideal Candidate Traits- Good communicator, works well both autonomously and in a team environment, and is adaptable.
- 1+ years' experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Contribute to the multidisciplinary inpatient psychiatric team by providing care for patients with identified medical needs.
- Complete admission history and physicals for all inpatient psychiatric patients ages 13 and older.
- Manage ongoing acute and chronic medical needs including transfer to a higher level of care if needed.
- 24/7 facility coverage including weekends and holidays, covering hours between 8AM - 8PM.
- Comfortable working independently and on diverse teams. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication.
- Full prescriptive authority is required to be considered for this position.

Exceptional Benefits- The pay range for this full-time position is $47.37 - $70.06/hour. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered.

Requirements for Nurse Practitioners- Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Association of Critical‑Care Nurses (AACN) is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of Colorado or compact privileges under the multi‑state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.
- Provisional prescriptive authority working towards full prescriptive authority or full prescriptive authority.
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in practice.
- Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
