Position SummaryThe Department of Psychology and its associated research centers are seeking Research Associate applicants for academic‑year positions, which may be temporary or special assignments. Opportunities are available in Applied Social and Health, Cognitive, Cognitive Neuroscience, Counseling and Industrial/Organizational psychology, as well as at the Tri‑Ethnic Center for Prevention Research and the Institute for Applied Prevention Research.
Qualifications Research Associate IBachelor’s degree; less than 3 years of professional, post‑baccalaureate experience.
Research Associate IIMore than 3 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates may hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; no additional professional experience required.
Research Associate IIIBachelor’s degree with 5 years of work‑related experience, or Master’s degree with at least 2 years experience. Ph.D. holders with no additional experience may also be appointed.
Research Associate IVBachelor’s degree with 10 years of work‑related experience or Master’s degree with more than 5 years of experience. Ph.D. holders with at least 2 years experience may also be appointed.
Required Job QualificationsHolder of a B.S. degree in an appropriate discipline.
