Neuroscience Sales Representative – Denver North, CO
Amplity, a full‑service go‑to partner of biopharma companies that delivers flexible + specialized medical + commercial services, is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Representative for the Denver North region. The role is part of Intra‑Cellular Therapies, a Johnson & Johnson ("J&J") company, headquartered in Bedminster, NJ. Founded on Nobel‑prize winning research, we launched our first commercial product in CNS in 2020 and achieved an expanded indication in 2021.
With a strong pipeline ranging from preclinical development to Phase III, and a culture that celebrates science, curiosity, collaboration, integrity and respect, we are expanding our CAPLYTA® medical team in psychiatry.
As a Neuroscience Sales Representative (NSR), you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within your assigned geographies while operating ethically and compliant. You will develop deep product and disease state knowledge to engage in compliant clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. The role requires creation of local strategic and tactical plans, effective budget management, and collaboration with stakeholders to develop a local business plan that achieves all objectives.
Strong customer focus, adaptability, entrepreneurship, and a passion for patient outcomes are essential.
- Follow compliance guidelines and drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts in your assigned territory, calling primarily Primary Care HCP offices and selected PC targets both in‑person and virtually.
- Develop superior product and disease state knowledge; educate and engage healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, product efficacy/safety profiles, and support on‑label prescribing.
- Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Function independently with sales proficiency to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Maintain current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region.
- Offer special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs in line with ITCI’s guidelines.
- Collaborate with District Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan and capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities.
- Share best practices with Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II colleagues.
- Administer timely and accurate management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
- Meet or exceed all NSR deliverables and complete all training within required timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 1+ years of documented B2B sales success; pharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device sales experience preferred.
- Experience in antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales is a plus.
- Strong passion for improving patient and caregiver lives, with an emphasis on patient‑centricity.
