Pay RangeBase salary: $64,000.00/yr – $89,000.00/yr.
Position OverviewThis outside direct‑sales role focuses on your dedicated sales territory, targeting small and medium‑sized businesses across various industries. You will promote leading supplemental insurance products and services to businesses and their employees, conducting individual and group presentations of 50–100+ participants.
Core Responsibilities- Use the customized Salesforce CRM to generate leads and expand your client portfolio.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text.
- Schedule meetings to assess clients’ insurance needs.
- Attend scheduled calls and meetings with the sales manager and team.
- Visit new and existing businesses, build relationships with owners, follow up on referrals, and maintain client service.
- Build and nurture your own client portfolio.
- Collaborate with the sales team manager to set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Plan and adhere to your weekly schedule; submit it each week to the manager.
- Record daily work stats and sales activity updates at the end of each day.
- Pass a high‑level pre‑employment background check.
- Have an active driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Hold an active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state (or be willing to obtain one; study course provided at no cost and state licensing fee reimbursement available).
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum of four years of post‑high‑school work experience (candidates within six months of degree completion or with less than four years of professional experience with relevant sales or athletic background will be considered).
- Comprehensive classroom and field training program.
