Skilled Laborers are craftspersons that are proficient in all trades of construction, including but not limited to framing, insulation, hanging drywall, finish drywall, paint, finish trim and doors, flooring, exterior siding and trim, et cetera. They are responsible for managing the project and following the scope of work provided by the Project Manager or Division Manager and Superintendent. Must also be proficient at time management, material take offs, and customer communication.

Role on the Team (Job Functions):
  • Follow the scope of work provided and execute effectively and efficiently
  • Notify management of any necessary changes to the scope
  • Safely and effectively operate power and specialty tools
  • Document all activity in job file system and program portals
  • Locate, order, and/or purchase materials per scope of project and submit receipts to office personnel
  • Communicate all activity to customers and restoration team
  • Record labor activity per job
  • Seek partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradespeople

Physical Requirements:

The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.
