Range for position is $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 10th, 2026).
- This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected, will retain contract status.
Must have a valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.

Responsible for the delivery of direct educational and mental health services to create supportive learning and social environments for all students. Responsible for conducting formal and informal assessments for the identification, placement, and programming of students for Special Education services and providing effective services to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Perform individual psychological assessments on students, write clear and concise diagnostic results, and maintain necessary documentation of student assessments.
- Develop, plan, prepare, and implement:
- Individual, measurable, long-term, and short-term objectives based on student identified needs.
- Effective working schedule.
- Apply techniques, strategies, and intervention to enhance/motivate students to meet IEP goals and objectives and evaluate student performance based on IEPs.
- Provide:
- Direct and indirect services to students, families, and appropriate staff.
- Consultation to families on interventions.
- Alternative adaptations to address student needs.
- Advocacy for students based on professional and ethical guidelines as well as state standards.
