Shop Hand

Position Summary

As a Shop Hand at Horse tooth Heating & Air, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and installation teams. Your responsibilities will include receiving and organizing materials, managing stock, scrapping old materials, maintaining the overall cleanliness of the shop, and running parts to support the team. This position requires working independently most of the time, so you must be comfortable handling responsibilities on your own.

$18/hr to $23/hr depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in HVAC
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Sheet metal experience preferred

• Receiving & Staging:
  Receive incoming materials, ensure accurate counts, and stage them for upcoming jobs.
• Stock Management:
  Organize, order, and distribute service/install materials as needed. Keep track of inventory levels and ensure supplies are always available.
• Scrapping:
  Responsible for scrapping old or unused materials in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Shop Cleanliness:
  Keep the shop area clean, organized, and safe by maintaining cleanliness and organizing materials.
• Parts Running:
  Deliver parts and materials to job sites or pick up materials from suppliers as needed.
