RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Schedule typically follows 7 days on, 7 days off rotation with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next

• Maximum of one week RTO (Required Time Off) if needed

• Shifts may change during contract and may need to cover day shift or mid shift as needed

• Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in emergency department specialty required

• Rotate through 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed ED Fast Track, and 7-bed ED Observation Unit regularly

• Assignments include Triage, Quick Registration, Covid Tent, and Entry Screening

• May be assigned to different areas daily and rotated during shifts based on patient volume

• May assist with Covid testing and/or immunization clinics as needed

• Expected to float to other qualified departments when needed, either taking patient loads or performing task-oriented duties

• Required certifications:
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation certification (obtained through facility after confirmation with $105 fee)

• Orientation occurs on Mondays only

• Position is for returning travelers
