Job Description:
• Current providers: 4 Physicians and 5 APPs

• Onsite services (CT, MRI, x-ray, lab, etc.)
• Level 4 Trauma Center
• Life Flight 24/7
• Cardiac Cath Services 24/7
• Hospitalist Program 24/7
• Hospital Duties include responding to in-house cardiac/respiratory arrests, including peds and OB/nursery
• No Call
• Flexible Scheduling
• Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• New fully equipped Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
• Twelve 12 hour shifts per month
• Clinical Shift Hours = 7:30a 7:30p, 7:30p 7:30a
• Department Staffing Model:
• Tuesday - Friday = 1 Physician & 1 APP (11:30a - 9:30p)
• Saturday - Monday = 1 Physician & 2 APP's (10a - 8p & 2p - 12a)
• Average # of patients/day = 60
• Annual visit volume = 20,000
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Qualifications:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (must become board certified within 5 years)
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Hold a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Ability to work as a team member and leader
