UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Hospital Medicine APP to join our team in Fort Dodge, IA. UnityPoint Health is a physician‑led nonprofit health care organization that offers comprehensive primary, walk‑in, and specialty care. Our patient‑centered vision and physician‑driven philosophy help reduce hospital readmissions and improve quality of care.

• Established team serving the Fort Dodge community.
• 7 on/7 off schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff provide autonomy while building the practice.
• Full‑time position with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling.
• Opportunity to work directly with patients to impact inpatient medicine needs.
• Fully integrated system with EPIC EMR.

• No call requirement.
• Inpatient hospitalist role: support two physicians on shift, work independently, rounding nurse and telemetry technician assist providers.
• Work as a team member to improve health of the people and communities we serve.
• Experience with hospitalist medicine a plus.
• Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
• Patient‑focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board eligible / board certified.
• Unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
• Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary for advanced practitioners.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
