Every 3rd weekend

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications

• Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as needed

• First-time travel nurses accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience

• Must have a taxable address outside of 60 miles from the facility
Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-surgical and post-cath patients in a telemetry healthcare setting

• Monitor and administer cardiac, heparin, and insulin drips, including titration

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care

• Float to ED and ICU units as required

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR

• Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations
