Senior Auditor

Overview

AWS/CES is looking for a Senior Auditor (Must be a CPA).

Type: Direct Hire, In-Office

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

We are a leading maritime services company based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, dedicated to excellence in our industry.

• Conduct internal and external audits in accordance with audit plans and procedures.
• Assess risks and test internal controls to ensure effectiveness.
• Analyze and reconcile complex financial data, identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain internal controls and prepare audit-ready documentation.
• Mentor junior staff members and contribute to their professional development.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis; 3+ years in internal audit or compliance reviews.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Must be a CPA
