Revenue Accountant

Revenue Accountant - Fort Lauderdale, FL

SAFEbuilt is currently looking for a Revenue Accountant to support the overall goals and objectives of the Accounting department. Candidate should have strong accounts receivable experience, as well as overall accounting knowledge. You will be part of a highly professional accounting team in our office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

• Generates invoices and billing documentation within month end close deadlines
• Posts cash receipts.
• Maintains accounting ledgers and client accounts and performs research.
• Collections on all past due accounts
• Remits quarterly fees collected to states and municipalities
• Project work as needed, other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with standard industry accounting software packages
• Experience with standard Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint – and ability to learn new software products and tools
• Experience with SAGE Intacct is preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be flexible and very open to change
• Attention to detail and proactive positive attitude

• 2-4 year Accounting degree preferred
• Applicable education and strong AR background would be considered
