The Contract and Pricing Strategy Specialist is responsible for developing, analyzing, and managing pricing models, contract structures, and commercial terms that support the organization’s financial objectives and competitive position. This role works closely with Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure pricing proposals are accurate, competitive, consistent, and aligned with strategic goals. Additionally, the specialist plays a key role in supporting negotiations and optimizing pricing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy and Analysis- Develop and maintain pricing models, rate sheets, and cost structures for products.
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis and market studies to support strategic decisions.
- Evaluate pricing scenarios and recommend strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor pricing performance and propose continuous improvements.
- Prepare pricing proposals, cost estimates, and documentation for RFPs and client contracts.
- Ensure proposals comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Provide support during negotiations through price analysis, risk evaluation, and recommendations on commercial structures.
- Collaborate with Legal to review contract terms, identify risks, and propose viable alternatives.
- Monitor contract performance, renewals, and compliance with pricing terms.
- Support the implementation of templates, standardized clauses, and approval workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in contracting and quoting processes.
- Work with Sales on deal structuring and pricing definition.
- Collaborate with Finance to align pricing with budgets, forecasts, and profitability objectives.
- Coordinate with Procurement teams to understand costs and support pricing strategies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years of experience in pricing analysis, contract management, financial modeling, or commercial operations.
- Experience managing RFPs and bidding processes.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel and analytical tools).
- Knowledge of pricing methodologies, contract terms, and negotiation processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain pricing models and rationales.
- High attention to detail and ability to organize and document complex information.
- Familiarity with CRM, CLM, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Avoid errors in calculations that could impact profitability.
- Review contracts and proposals to ensure correct margins.
- Timely and accurate delivery of pricing models and proposals (SLA: 4 hours).
- Improvement in response times for commercial and contractual processes.

Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $93,000 USD
