Pirtle Constructioniscurrentlyseekinga Superintendenttojoinour South Florida team .Theidealcandidatewilloverseeallfieldoperationsandsubcontractorsattheprojectsite. POSITIONSCOPEANDORGANIZATIONALIMPACTThe Superintendentwillcollaboratewiththeprojectteamtoplan,schedule,organize,anddirecttheconstructionoflarge-scale education,residential,municipal,andcommercialprojects.
ESSENTIALJOBDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinateallconstructionfieldactivitiesamongsubcontractorsandotherindividuals/companiesinvolvedwiththeproject.
- Haveastrongknowledgeofthe Construction Documentsandensurethatconstructioncomplieswiththesedocuments .
- Superviseprojectsafetyandensureallworkersonsitecomplywithsafetyrequirementsandtheprojectsafetyplan.
- Assessdailystaffingofsubcontractorsandfieldworkforce.
- Assessthedailysupplyofmaterialsandequipment.
Trackvendordeliveriesofmaterialstoavoiddelaysandon-sitematerialloss. - Participateindevelopingtheprojectscheduleandprovidetheinformationneededtocreate,monitor,andmodifyitonacontinuingbasis.
- Coordinatewiththe Project Managertodevelopandadministerthesiteutilizationprogram ,siteservices,safety plan,andsecurityarrangementsnecessaryfortheproject.
- Monitoractualversusrequiredperformancebyallpartiesanddeterminewhethersubcontractorsprovideasufficientworkforceandhoursofworktoachieveperformancecommitments.
- Maintainthoroughfamiliaritywiththegeneralcontractrequirementsandensurethattherequirementsareadheredto.
- Responsibleforensuringthatfieldworkisperformedwithahighstandardofqualityandinanefficientmanner.
- Maintaindailyprogressreportsandconductweeklyjobsitesafetymeetings.
