Overview
Seeking a Traveling Physician for Medical Training / Any Location.

Flexible / Traveling 25–35 weeks per calendar year - Salary: $150,000 base annual salary
- Bonus:
After 265 participants trained in a year, $450 per participant trained. - Out of town bonus: $500 per week for each week out of town after the 10th week.
- Daily pay: $200 per day for each day worked in excess of the 50th working day per calendar year. Travel days do not count as work days unless a training session is conducted on the travel day.
Physician Trainer will be responsible for conducting E&M coding training to providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical providers). Coding is conducted to cover office visits.
- Each training session lasts approximately 90 minutes.
- Usually a minimum of 4 providers in each session.
- Will conduct between 3 to 5 sessions per day.
- 30 days after initial training, conduct a follow-up review of charts with at least 3 charts per provider.
- 60 days after initial training, conduct Review #2 (second chart review) to reinforce training.
- Must be a physician who is licensed and in good standing. Does not have to be currently practicing.
- Flexible travel schedule; travel 25–35 weeks per calendar year.
- Medical experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics is desirable.
- Should be an experienced physician who is considering leaving, retiring, or has retired from practice.
- May be required to attend a presentation with sales staff to follow up or potentially close a training opportunity.
- Articulate with good presence and ability to get along with others
- Good storyteller; able to capture an audience and translate past experiences into an engaging narrative
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to manage through conflict and teach others to do so
- Relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills
Before being hired the candidate will be asked to sit in on a training program and observe.
Will go through a minimum 3 month onboarding process before conducting first training session.
- Presentations as though conducting a training session.
- Work with each trainer and observe training and reviews.
- One to two sessions with current trainers critiquing.
- Conduct mock training sessions.
