Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking an energetic full-time Music Teacher to be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive music curriculum for the 2025-26 school year. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

• Bachelor's Degree in Music.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate, Temporary or Professional required.
• Must be a Roman Catholic in good standing with considerable knowledge and familiarity of the Catholic liturgy and an ability to integrate the liturgy with musical skills so that the liturgical music component of worship can be celebrated.
• Knowledge of keyboard technique, liturgical service-playing techniques, group vocal techniques and experience in choral conducting.
• Possess performance proficiency in a keyboard instrument used in liturgical celebration and voice/choral performance experience.
• Familiarity with the vast repertoire of sacred music available today, both contemporary and treasured.
• Excellent inter-personal skills with capacity to interact with priests, professional and volunteer musicians, parishioners, and parish staff.
• Ability to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.
• Ability to communicate musical concepts and instruction with oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice;
  Spanish required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
