SCHOOL COUNSELOR (ALL LEVELS) / 2025 - 2026 SCHOOL YEAR

We are hiring outstanding School Counselors for the 2025–2026 school year. Join Broward County Public Schools to support students in academic, life skills and wellness, and college/career development.

To provide a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate school counseling program to support the academic, life skills and wellness, and college/career needs of all students.

• An earned master s degree from an accredited institution in School Counseling, Counselor Education, or a related field.
• Valid Florida Department of Education Certification in School Counseling.
• Ability to work with diverse groups.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

• Bi-lingual Skills

Works with students, school leaders, district leaders, teachers, staff, parents and/or guardians, and the community to improve the academic, college/career, and personal development of all students.

Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
