Westminster Academy is a private, Christ-centered college preparatory school serving grades PK–12 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Founded in 1971, the Academy’s mission is to equip covenant students to fulfill God’s calling by thinking and living biblically in the service of others. Westminster Academy is accredited by Cognia, ACSI, and SAIS, and is a member of the Classical Latin School Association.

Westminster Academy seeks a full-time Upper School Latin teacher to join a dynamic faculty committed to the integration of faith and learning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong content knowledge, a passion for classical language and culture, and the ability to engage students through a variety of instructional approaches. This position includes teaching Latin I–IV (potentially AP Latin) and contributing to the broader life of the school through mentoring and collaboration within the humanities department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Classics, Latin, or related field
• Teaching experience in a classical or Christian school setting preferred
• Proficiency in Latin grammar, translation, and cultural context
• Commitment to Westminster Academy’s statement of faith and educational philosophy
• Ability to foster disciplined, joyful learning and a biblical worldview in the classroom

• Teach Upper School Latin courses (grades 8–12)
• Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and coherence
• Participate in faculty development, chapel, and community events
• Model Christlike character and integrate Scripture into instruction
• Support the mission and policies of Westminster Academy
