We are looking for a Master for a Tug vessel with a salary negotiable for a 4‑month contract. The crew change will be in Freeport, Bahamas around 19th/20th of December 2019. The candidate must hold a valid USA C1/D visa. The ship carries 8 crew, including a Master and Cook from Ukraine and the rest Filipino. Ship owner: USA.
Ship details:
Built in 1976 by McDermott Shipyard Incorporated (hull #215). Powered by two 20‑cylinder EMD 20‑645‑EG diesel engines with a 7,200 hp output. Electrical service from two 90kW Caterpillar D3304 generators. Towing equipment includes a double‑drum Markey TDSDW 36C winch and 3,000‑ft of 2.75‑in towing wire on each drum. Dimensions:
Length 127.2 ft, breadth 36.5 ft, depth 10.8 ft, gross tonnage 199, net tonnage 135.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid USA C1/D visa and hold Master licence.
