Job DescriptionMUST-HAVES
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science
- Knowledge of GD&T, Solid Works (reading drawings), root cause analysis, and CAPA
- Ability to manage NC from start to finish and develop solutions
- Experience with Critical to Quality Attributes (CTQ) and tolerances on drawings
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Gage R&R, CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine)
- Understanding measurement methods
The Sr. Quality Engineer will ensure high compliance with FDA QSR/cGMPs and ISO 13485 in all assigned areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, R&D, Distribution) to resolve quality issues using established problem-solving methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, Mistake-proofing, etc.)
- Lead resolution of quality issues related to non-conformance reports, customer complaints, regulatory actions, etc., and support CAPA investigations and corrective actions
- Lead continuous improvement activities such as Quality Circles and Process Capability
- Support Lean initiatives and rework/scrap reduction
- Participate in developing and improving manufacturing, distribution, and other processes for existing and new products
- Support project teams in product and process design and development
- Develop and review inspection plans, routers, and drawings
- Assist in process and equipment validation/qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Interface with suppliers for process improvements and quality issues
- Support product transfers between facilities
- Implement Process Management activities (pFMEA, control plans)
- Review and approve change control documentation and specifications
- Participate in continuous improvement and re-engineering projects
Relocation assistance up to $10,000
Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000
Performance bonus: $0 – $5,000, Bonus Plan
