We are seeking a solution and result oriented Field Service Engineer to strengthen our Marine field service and commissioning team in the United States. As a Service Engineer your responsibilities are preventive and breakdown services of HI-FOG water mist fire suppression systems, additionally participating in installation & systems commissioning activities as well. The role requires travelling around 200 days per year mainly in the USA.

• HI-FOG® fire suppression system service & maintenance on the customer’s site
• Reporting & documentation, service administration
• Collaboration with other project team members

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Vocational school education or higher
• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering installations and maintenance (at least a basic understanding of the electrical discipline is required)
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in demanding arrangements (12+ hours/day)
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Great communication skills and customer orientated attitude
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Automation systems and installations experience
• Marine industry experience
• Experience from HI-FOG systems
• Experience with PLC systems (Siemens / Mitsubishi)
