Senior Civil Engineer

Position Overview

Senior Civil Engineer – Coral Gables or Fort Lauderdale office.

• Lead the design of site layouts, utilities, sanitary and storm sewer, grading, earthwork, erosion control, stormwater systems, and pollution prevention plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans and grading plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to ensure project objectives (scope, schedule, deliverables) are met in accordance with established metrics.
• Provide technical expertise in hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management.
• Coordinate permitting with county and local municipalities; local experience is a plus.
• Work with project management to identify challenges and develop and implement solutions.

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Proven experience with codes and regulations, interpreting plans, designing storm water facilities, site grading and local and state permitting for land disturbance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking and Storm and Sanitary Analysis software packages, Pond Pack, and Microsoft Suite products.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.

Base pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range: $125,300 – $208,800 USD.
