Investment Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our growing wealth management firm affiliated with Ameriprise Financial.

This position is ideal for an investment professional with a strong background in fixed income markets, bond analysis, investment research, and portfolio strategy who wants exposure to the investment decision-making process while helping shape portfolios for high-net-worth clients.

We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into market data, evaluating investment opportunities, analyzing risk, and contributing thoughtful recommendations that influence portfolio outcomes.

• Analyze fixed income markets, interest rate trends, yield curves, and economic developments
• Research and evaluate corporate, municipal, agency, and Treasury securities
• Support bond trading activities and fixed income portfolio implementation
• Conduct investment research across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and alternative investments
• Assist with portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy
• Monitor portfolio performance and evaluate investment opportunities
• Develop market commentary, investment reports, and research presentations
• Participate in investment committee discussions and strategic planning
• Collaborate directly with advisors and firm leadership on portfolio management initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in fixed income, bond trading, investment analysis, portfolio management, institutional research, or asset management
• Strong understanding of fixed income securities, interest rate markets, duration, credit quality analysis, and portfolio construction
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities

• CFA Charter holder or active CFA Candidate
• Experience working within investment management, institutional consulting, banking, or wealth management environments
• Experience supporting discretionary portfolio management and investment committee processes
• Familiarity with fixed income trading platforms and investment analytics tools
