Salary: $50,238.00 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver health promotion, equity, and public health education services.

• Support Smokefree Multi-Unit Housing and Tobacco Free Public Spaces policy areas.

• Collaborate with community partners and lead outreach initiatives.

• Assist the Tobacco Prevention Program Manager in policy development and environmental change strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Florida Department of Health employee (OPS, Career Service, SES or SMS). Applicants must be FH employee; outside not accepted.

• Experience developing and conducting education presentations.

• Experience with community outreach and collaboration with partners.

• Willing to work before, during, or beyond normal hours in emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience developing and completing reports.

• Experience engaging with smoke-free multi-unit housing decision makers.

• Experience engaging local decision makers to promote tobacco-free policy and environmental changes.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
